Dream Adventure: Healing Spirit
This is an Augmented Reality game related to Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander People addressing their ongoing low levels of social emotional well-being (SEWB). The target users are Aboriginal elementary school children aged 7 to 12. WHAT IS SEWB?
Social Emotional Wellbeing for Aboriginal People is beyond physical and mental health. This encompasses more holistic understanding including physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects. The figures below shows these aspects of SEWB that are important to Aboriginal communities.
OUR INSIGHTS
Starting with the children, addressing psychological traumas, and establishing essential aspects like self-identity and cultural connections can help them better manage future challenges. This approach not only makes these challenges more controllable but also helps to narrow the gap between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities.
